WA Youth
Rotary is a global community service organisation with numerous important objectives such as promoting peace and improving global health. Another core objective of Rotary is supporting youth education and development. The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a key tool for Rotary to improve the leadership, education and capacity of young people in our community. RYLA aims to prepare young people to face the challenges of the modern world, support them to reach their full capacity and become true global citizens & community leaders.
Rotary District 9455's RYLA provides young Western Australians with a high quality personal and professional development program that will also provide them nationally recognised certificates in Leadership from South Metropolitan TAFE. There is also a clear leadership pathway for young people with an advance extension course also offered to participants completing the initial RYLA program.
